From cats to fish...

Crabs

Hope everyone had a good crimbo and a happy new year :)

I got a marine fish tank in my stocking this year and it has been sat in my living room with some rock and sand in. Today we went to the fish shop and got the critters that will eat the fish poo and keep it clean.

The team comprises of snails, crabs and shrimps.

This is Ozzy my emerald crab...

and this is one of my blue leg hermit crabs...

Next weekend I'm going to get my first fish which will probably be a clownfish (like nemo). Hopefully eventually the tank will house a few more fish and some colourful coral, watch this space.

I used my iphone to photograph the crabs, it does a really good job of focusing on the tiny stuff in the tank. Eventually I will have a go with my SLR.
